My mission in life is to help individuals discover the
gateway to personal liberty and freedom—the personal liberty and freedom that allows
them to experience the “Libertarian Pleasures of the Body, Mind and
Spirit." I call this "The Libertarian Way." Happily, I experience the joy
of my existence every day of my life.
I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Growing up my passion was
baseball. I had the privilege of playing centerfield for the former
major league player Herman (Flea) Clifton. You know what. The
passionate fire you acquire and ignite for your highest values,
determine how much you enjoy your activities.
Flea Clifton positively influenced me with his teachings on
fundamentals and applying them through self-discipline. Obviously, it isn’t enough
to have the will to win. You must acquire the proper tools to
accomplish your goals and desires. Our team called Maier Airport won
the Class B Knothole National Championship in 1963.
Fortunately, I have always possessed a passion for reading. Two of my early
influences were the “Perry Mason” series by Erle Stanley Gardner and
the "Sherlock Holmes Treasury” by Arthur Conan Doyle. I learned the
importance of deductive reasoning from these authors. You can
accomplish great things when you integrate your reasoning abilities
with your intuitive powers.
Certainly, the most important year for me was 1978—the year
I discovered Praxeology and the works of Ludwig von Mises. Praxeology is the science
of human action and its better-known part economics. I still consider
Mises “Human Action” the greatest non-fiction book of all time. Mises
offered a marvelous gift to the world—a gift I hope you take advantage
of.
Another important influence during that time was Ayn Rand. Her book
“Atlas Shrugged” is a masterpiece. Her philosophy of Objectivism had a
major impact on my life. I combine Objectivist principles with timeless
spiritual truths creating an explosive, pleasurable lifestyle you can
live every day of your life.
It was during the late 70’s that I decided to do a life long
investigation into human action. This is something similar to what
Napoleon Hill did when he investigated success principles for over 30
years. This carried me into many exciting areas of discovery.
Continuous learning offers you many timeless rewards.
Fate had it that I moved to Texas in 1985. At this time I became interested in
psychology and psychiatry. I studied the great masters such as Sigmund
Freud, Carl Jung, Abraham Maslow, Viktor Frankl and others. I learned a
lot about human behavior—and I learned how each of us desires to live a
life of pleasure and ecstasy—if only we knew how
The teachings of Carl Jung resulted in me becoming excited about
metaphysics. However my metaphysical explorations took off when I
discovered Jonathan Parker’s “Mind Power Series” and subsequently his
“Pathways to Mastership” course. I began a practice of daily
meditation, which greatly benefits me. You enter into marvelous realms
of being when you discover higher awareness.
Many of my discoveries occurred during my meditations. A state of
high awareness definitely results in creative thinking, intuitive
insights and enhanced reasoning abilities. I conceived many of my
writings during my meditations—writings I believe will help you enter
the gateway to continuous pleasure and ecstasy.
What all this means is that I am now able to combine the teachings of Praxeology, Objectivism and
Metaphysics into a simple, but rewarding philosophy of life—a
philosophy of life called The Libertarian Way. I am pleased to offer you this
joyous way of living.
